
Biljana Crvenkovska
A writer, scriptwriter, translator, editor,
and publisher. A dreamer who is in
love with nature, mountains, animals,
and clouds, and an eternal child.
Except for her daydreaming whenever
possible, Biljana never stops writing…
and writing… and writing. She has
written over 100 books and scripts for
animated and TV series for childr en
and adults, and even one movie script.
For her books, she has won many
national and international awards
(some «White Ravens» among others),
and the books she has written have
been translated into many different
languages. She lives on the route
Skopje – Ohrid – Dreamland, while her
best friend is Max the Cat.

Aleksandra Simova Klinčarova
Aleksandra Simova has a BA in Comparat ive Literature, an MA in Cultural Studies and an extensive advertising experience as a copywriter for more or less 20 years. She has written countless commercials, slogans, headlines, taglines and even a few obituaries. She has also written and published several critical theory texts and analyses in literary magazines, but times are tough for theory lovers. She has also worked as a book editor, translator and author in publishing and is exceptionally proud on the books she edited. She is also a published author of three children’s books, currently working on the fourth one. When she’s not doing laundry, Aleksandra loves to read and write, though she procrastinates and finishes her books in the last minute. She is a big horr or and fantasy fan and is t he author of the first horror stories book for children in the country. She is a walking trivia for movies, pop cul ture and random useless knowledge, is a big fan of K-beauty and bakes really well.

Katerina Nikolovska
Katerina Nikolovska is an awardwinning
illustrator and designer. She has
illustrated many picture books, comics,
collections of stories, poems, covers
for children’s and young adult novels,
posters, etc. She has participated in
many projects and several collective
exhibitions. For her books she has won
many awards, including the White Ravens
2020 selection for the illustration of the
book “Macedonian fairy tales for the
whole year”.

Vladimir Lukaš
Vladimir Lukash (1978) is a writer,
visual artist, and musician.
He has published around ten books
for children and adults, as well as
for grown-up children. Above all, for
them. He enjoys reading, writing,
and drawing books for children,
and dreams of never stopping
this adventure. Published books
for children: “Shi, Dzifri, Kopchi”
(poems), “Creatures’ Fair” (short
stories), “Olly Olly, Milo Free”
(poems), and the picture books
“Take a Bow and Begin” and “Bugsy
and the Little Owl”. Lukash hates
writing short biographies about
himself in the third person and
having to repeat again and again —
even in the first person — that he
lives and works in Skopje.

Irina Atanaskova
Irina Atanaskova loves to draw on skin,
walls, paper, and a tablet. She is the
mother of two children and one dog.
She enjoys creating unique drawings
about everyday life. Her wish is to reach
adults through children›s illustrations and
remind them of the carefree nature of
childhood play as a memory of freedom.

Vladimir Martinovski
Vladimir Martinovski (b. 1974) is a poet, short story writer, essayist, literary translator, and children’s author. He also works in the visual arts, photography, and music. He has published 12 poetry books for adults, 3 haibun collections, 1 short story collection, 11 collections of essays, and 4 children’s books. He is the recipient of numerous awards: for poetry (Brothers Miladinov, Ante’s Gold Coin, The Lyre of Orpheus), for essays (Dimitar Mitrev), and for short stories (Nova Makedonija). He teaches at the Faculty of Philology “Blazhe Koneski” at St. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, where since 2023 he also serves as Dean. His poetry has been translated into around twenty languages. Martinovski is President of the Macedonian PEN Center and a member of the Macedonian Writers’ Association.
